Hello we are learning about old Edinburgh.

WE ARE LEARNING ABOUT OLD EDINBURGH.THIS IS ST GILES CATHEDRAL

We saw Edinburgh castle.It was amazing. We discovered that there were cannons on the wall.

P4 are studying Old Edinburgh this term. To help them discover information about the city, they caught the number 35 bus on the 20th January getting off near the Musuem.

During the visit they saw many interesting buildings, statues etc. The pupils have updated this blog with details of the trip they found most interesting along with some photos.

The first discovery during the trip was Grey Friars Bobby.

WE WENT TO THE ROYAL MILE.

We saw Mary kings close. These dressed up people were talking.

We went on the number 35 to old Edinburgh we saw Mary kings close it was fun. We seen a pup it had Deacon Brodie and writing at the side off it I wish we could of go in the pup.We seen Edinburgh castle i wanted to go inside it I felt very happy

We went on a trip to EDINBURGH CASTLE .We saw a BIG picture of DEACON BRODIE. Mrs Shanks took us down the Royal Mile. It was fun .We also saw a man and lady

We are learning about old Edinburgh.We went on the number 35 bus to the royal mile and we saw the Grey Friars Bobby's church and his grave stone .Then we saw the Edinburgh castle .with some cannons sticking out of the castle .Then we saw John Knox house.
